The title ‘LOMandra’ earned $16.5M on Friday, according to The Hollywood Reporter, with a global cume of $19.5m.
The movie, which debuted in October, stars Meryl Streep and Daniel Craig as two wealthy, aging Hollywood types who spend their money on expensive, luxe and exclusive luxury goods.
The film has already grossed $21M in its opening weekend, according the film’s producer.
Its grosses are more than twice what it earned in its domestic debut.
It also has a worldwide cume.
In its first weekend, ‘Looma’ took in $4.6M.
The new “lomania” is a line of luxury cars, accessories and accessories for the elderly.
The title is based on the Greek mythological creature of the same name that was the main source of inspiration for the film.
‘Lomo’ was originally released in October 2018, but was delayed by the shooting of a sequel, ‘Lovela.’
‘Lovena’ earned a $2.9M opening on Friday for a global total of $30.3M.
It was also one of the top five titles on Amazon Prime Video this weekend.
The Weinstein Company has also produced the film and will release the film worldwide.
The sequel, which has a cast that includes Matt Damon, is expected to come out sometime this fall.
This film also stars Amy Adams and John Goodman.
‘Loose’ earned an estimated $2M Friday for the weekend, and a $1.9 million Thursday cume in the United States.
‘Catch Me If You Can’ is expected for a wide release in August 2018.
The filmmaker behind ‘Loombah’ is Dan O’Bannon, who is also producing ‘Loma’ and ‘Lobster.’
It was originally directed by Tom Ford, who also wrote the screenplay for ‘Looming Tower,’ ‘Mule’ and many other films.
The studio is also developing ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.’
The Weinstein Co. has produced numerous movies with stars including Matthew McConaughey, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks and many others.
The films include ‘The Great Gatsby,’ ‘The Big Short,’ ‘Hacksaw Ridge,’ ‘Lincoln,’ ‘Inception,’ ‘Ridley Scott’s The Martian,’ ‘Django Unchained,’ ‘Warcraft’ and the Weinstein Co.’
‘Lucky,’ which stars Will Smith and Emma Watson, earned $1M Friday.
‘Tilted: The Last Day’ earned another $1,100,000 for a total of about $7 million.
It’s the seventh-highest grossing movie of 2018.
‘Pompeii,’ the animated film from Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation, also earned $600,000 Friday for an estimated domestic cume that was about $3.4M.
DreamWorks is producing ‘Pomp and Circumstance,’ which is also based on a novel by John C. Reilly.
The story follows a group of kids who are transported to the faraway city of Pompano Beach, Florida, after a devastating tsunami.
The animated film is being produced by Walt Disney Studios and Dreamworks Animation.
‘Halo’ earned more than $1 million for a weekend that was $6.5 million.
‘The Good Dinosaur,’ starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, also made $1m for a $4M weekend.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
2′ earned the highest weekend gross of the year, grossing $3M for a domestic total of more than five times its $2 million opening weekend.
It will play in more than 60 countries.
The Disney/Marvel superhero sequel has also earned a sequel and is coming to theaters in 2019.
